I don't believe in culture ... I believe in encounters. -- Gilles Deleuze

Affect, DeImperiality and Materialisms-yet-to-come (ADAM)

Add to Calendar

Affect, DeImperiality and Materialisms-yet-to come (ADAM) is an inter/post-disciplinary reading group for new texts in philosophy, critical theory and art. It is associated with LSU students and faculty, etc but is open to all including remotely by Zoom. It is loosely inspired by a longstanding non-representational theory reading group at Bristol University (UK).

During Spring 2021, we are meeting by Zoom and informally associated with a Deleuze seminar at LSU but additional participants may be admitted. Email meetmeat@yeswecannibal.org

More information will be available later in the Spring at http://adam.yeswecannibal.org.

Suggested next books include:

  • Posthuman Knowledge by Rosa Braidotti (Polity 2019)
