Presenting a slice of space-time from Monday, April 8th, 2024.

Chris Staudinger had recently finished an afternoon chipping away at an environmental psychology thesis and was on to a rehearsal for Stockholm’s Daisies Varieté: Daisies Presents a Night at the Museum.

J August Knoblach had recently finished a solo exhibition, Souvenir, at Nikki at Mehle Gallery and was on to research and tinker for a group show at an inaugural space in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

The interview slash dialogue that follows touches on the Anthropocene and the Gulf Coast, site-specific contemporary visual art, American blues music and mythology, institutional critique, & the creative process and output while surviving under late stage capitalism.
