Artist Statement

I am leaning on the stories and characters of Greek mythology I devoured as a child to make some sense of the world I am in as an adult. The wrath of gods, the mystification of nature, the desperation of powerful fools seems almost parallel to contemporary disdain for compassion, science, and virtue. Reinterpreting this imagery has helped me reconcile a society one needs an oracle to fathom.
